FoolOnTheHill 1,676 Posted April 10, 2016 Malzilla has a fruity haze smell and MG is still smelling like landrace weed. smile

FoolOnTheHill 1,676 Posted April 23, 2016 Malzilla (Shackzilla x Malawi Gold) bred by F.O.T.H. I took Malzilla down after 90 days. I have to admit, that I always look for awakeness, clarity and activating features, so I tend to harvest early. Nonetheless this plant was ripe. Yield: The shackzilla shines through: Big, chunky nugs... great yield. Smell: Only smells when touched: hazy, piney smell. Taste: It tastes like shackzilla, but more spicy, earthy, probably a malawi influence. Buzz: The high is dominated by shackzilla, but in combination with malawi it´s more "up" and the bodystone is less expressed. It´s a warm strong headhigh that lasts long. Perfect and unique combination for sativalovers and haze fans. Overall: 8.75/10 Great job on the Malzilla, F.O.T.H.! Thxs for the beans. smile

The structure of the Malawi Gold is phenomenal. Very short internodes for a tropical sativa and big fluffy spears on every sideshoot. She´s also some weeks ahead in bud production compared to Full Energy. I´ll show F.E. in my next post. FoolOnTheHill 1,676 Posted May 12, 2016 The last photos of Malawi Gold. After 99 days 12/12, I cut her down. M.G. sideshoot Some minutes and a haircut later... smile
FoolOnTheHill 1,676 Posted May 13, 2016 At the end she had a 8,5 L container and had grown to a respectable size ( 130 cm). The internodes were short (ca. 8cm) and the buds long fluffy spearshaped candles, giving her an overall bushy look. Hier zijn verslag ervan: One gram Malawi Gold: This is afropips Malawi gold anounced to flower 14-16 weeks outdoors. My MG came down after 14 weeks and 1 day. I presume the high intensity of my 600 w. hps shortens the flowertime about a week. I have experienced this, most of the time, I grow pure sats. Yield 8. 75/ 10. A very big fluffy headcola and some impressive budspears from the sideshoots. Good yielder. smell: ...no smell, sorry... Taste: The taste is orangepeel, tangerine sour. The taste lingers on for some moments 8.75/ 10 High: The buzz of MalawiGold is a natural, strong, longlasting upbeat, awake 100% sativa rush. It´s not racy only clear and increased bloodpressure making you feel warm and comfortable. It lasts 3 hours and fades out leaving you sober without any burnout effect, even in higher doses. 8.75/10 Overall 8.75/10 Easy to grow high yielding tropical sativa with a good taste and a longlasting high. Recommended. smile

Posted Yesterday, 10:13 PM smilestyle, on 14 May 2016 - 01:57 AM, said: @F.o.t.h Yes, I harvest early. Anything wrong with that? It's your party, so as long as you are happy, it's fine. But it does not show the full potential of the strain. And I have my doubts about this remark: smilestyle, on 12 May 2016 - 07:01 PM, said: I presume the high intensity of my 600 w. hps shortens the flowertime about a week.
