Online Growshop Alien Santa Maria-Nlx

Recommended Posts

Hey Kwekende nederbelgen-hollanders

This time we are growing 2 Santa Maria's and 2 Nlx's side-by side. It will be exciting to see how these two varieties perform next to each other. As you can see we are growing them on cocos. This airy medium allows for rapid root development and plants get bigger and branchier because of this. Cocos doesn't get hard on top like soil when it dries out which makes it easy to water. It sucks up every last drop of moist and is almost impossible to overwater on cocos.

A week later and you can already see a big difference. The plants have started to grow and are branching out nicely. We have recently topped our plants because we have limited headspace. If we remove the headshoot of the plants, the plants will stop growing upwards and start growing more sideways. This is an effective method to keep plants with alot of growing potential small.

Yep, only trees allowed in our grow showroom :) :D

Another week growth later, the difference is huge. The plants have really started to grow fast because they have established a root system in the cocos. Two weeks of growth and look at the size of our plants, looking lush and green.

First week of flowering. The plants wil start dubbeling in size in the next three weeks of flower. Its really gets interesting from now on. White hairs will pop up everywhere and start to grow into large bunches forming the actual buds later on in flowering.

Second week of flowering. You can clearly see a big difference with the previous week. The budsites have grown alot and will become bigger and bigger overtime. The plants are still growing alot and will continue to do so untill week 3 of flowering. Then the plants will stop growing and start paying more attention to the development of big buds.

Today the thirth week of flowering, because the grower that normally takes care for the plants was away to party a couple days, we stupid bastards forgot to fill the reservoir. The plants got very thristy and that why they look a little yellowish. The plants have sucked the moist from the leaves to stay alive. Give it another week and they will be looking lush and green again. Flower formation is still going strong.
