They are seen as a benchmark for quality in food, clothing, cars, sculpture, and so much more. One can only imagine the exceptional quality of Italy’s luxury marijuana, and there is a good chance the planet will soon get to find out. In a bold move, the Italian Parliament is considering legalizing marijuana across the country this coming Monday. The Bill is said to have broad support and will be up for debate in the Chamber of Deputies. If passed, the Bill would allow the possession of 15 grams of marijuana for use at home and people would be able to carry five grams in public. Anyone living within Italy’s borders will also be able to grow five plants for personal use, and cannabis clubs will be allowed accept up to 50 members. But wait, there’s more… For those who don’t know how or simply don’t want to grow at home, the government is planning to grant licenses for the production and sale of marijuana to be sold in stores. Like other countries legalizing in their own ways, Italy is moving in this direction stamp out the black market, or in this case, the Mafia. The Bill was created by a cross-party committee of senators and was signed by a third of the Parliament last September. It also sees support from Chief Prosecutors, anti-Mafia, and anti-terrorism sectors within the government. Marijuana reform has a high approval rating across the country as well, with a recent IPSOS Poll that found 70% of Italians want marijuana regulation similar to Colorado. Italy’s neighbor Greece is also coming out of the shadows and considering loosening their stance on cannabis, at least in the medical sense. No doubt if Italy decides to go ahead with their plans on Monday, this could be the spark that sets legal cannabis ablaze across Europe. Other countries on the continent across the pond that are currently discussing or are in the process of loosening their stance on pot include the Czech Republic, Croatia, Macedonia, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Renzi said in May that the hot-button issue was "not on the agenda" for his team." en "Catholic lawmakers have already made it clear they intend to fight the bill to the bitter end, including drowning the text with amendments." maken mij een stuk minder hoopvol dan het bericht aan het begin van deze topic. Begrijp me niet verkeerd ik hoop dat het er door komt, de kans dat er (op korte termijn) iets veranderd is alleen heel klein. Aan de andere kant zijn deze stappen nodig om veranderingen te bewerkstelligen, dus dat is alleen maar goed. Ik denk alleen dat we realistisch moeten blijven en wiet sites wat meer nieuws moeten brengen ipv glossy verhalen. Natuurlijk reageren die vastgeroeste katholieken op de enige manier die ze kennen het is iets nieuws!,dus doen ze maar zo........ Als regering van een land hoor je jezelf niet te laten misleiden/leiden door religie,al helemaal niet door de katholieke kerk/fanatiekelingen. Ze negeren zelf de inwoners van het land,70% van de voorgaande poll was al voor toch?. Haal de katholieken met de vinger uit de pap,anders is de pap bedorven. Dus neem je bijbel en gebruik als BBQ anmaak papier,want iets beters dan een goed gebakken steak komt er niet voort uit zo'n boekje met leugens. Hopelijk geeft de koran ook zo een bijbelige rooksmaak aan mijn vlees Johnny,gewoon goddelijk Christelijke partij of niet,als het volk voor 70% ja zegt zal het er wel doorkomen uiteindelijk. Collie Weed 2,426 Posted September 27, 2016 (edited) Het werd heel stil.... hoe is het nu afgelopen? What the deal? Ben nog naar bella Italia geweest twee weken terug. Zag wel veel caribinieri en guardia civil en de gewone policia regionale bij het park in Milano,ze zaten op het bankje naast de dienst auto's een peuk te roken. De jongelui op de bankjes ernaast staken de ene joint na de andere aan,ze deden niks. Ook niet toen ik en Ms. Collie bij de dom op de trap zaten te lurken aan een bijna pure pineapple express. Ze liepen gewoon langs en zeiden buongiorno en lachten Maar dat zegt weinig over de toestand nu. No officer lord you must be mad!,i only smoke cigarettes and strictly shag!
